Cascade+
Cascade+ is the name of the mechanics used in both the main game and Free Spins section of Vault Raiders DoubleMax used to deliver Free Spins from a trail.
- Each winning combination across all 243 ways for each spin is paid to the winnings meter.
- All symbols involved in the win are removed from the game window leaving empty spaces in their place.
- Once they are removed the current position on the Free Spins trail is increased by one position.
- Between 1 and 3 wild symbols will be added randomly into the empty spaces.

Vault Raiders DoubleMax uses the ‘DoubleMax’ mechanic. Each winning cascade increases a multiplier by x2, progressing as x2, x4, x8, x16, x32, x64, x128, x256, x512, x1024, x2048. The multiplier resets to x1 at the end of the game cycle. The DoubleMax multiplier is also active during the Free Spins feature and does not reset until the end, allowing for truly big wins.
The ‘DoubleMax’ multiplier is also applied to the winnings won from any safe symbols that land in view.
Safe Symbol

Trail

Once no more pops occur, if the current trail step has lit a position with an icon on top of it, the player is awarded the Free Spins feature.

Free Spins
Free Spins are played at the bet of the triggering spin.
The number of Free Spins awarded will be 8, 10, 12, 14 or 16 depending on the current trail position.
The Free Spins feature is set inside the bank and the player is awarded a minimum of 8 Free Spins and any specialists that have joined the crew on entry (depending on the trail position).

Vault Raid Mini Feature
Vault Raid symbols are single scatter symbols that can only land on reel 5 in the Free Spins bonus.
During Free Spins, if a Vault Raid symbol lands in view on reel 5, the Vault Raid mini feature is awarded and the player has the chance to crack the code and be awarded a large Vault prize.
Upon landing, the player will be taken to the keypad entry screen, where they can attempt to open the Vault by guessing the correct entry code.
The player has 3 attempts to crack the code. If the player runs out of attempts before unlocking the Vault, then they can continue where they left off with another 3 attempts, if another mini feature is triggered during the same Free Spins feature. These are the three types of Vaults to open, from lowest to highest value:
- Bronze: Contains a prize between X20 and X100 the base stake and is protected by a 3-digit entry code.
- Silver: Contains a prize between X125 and X500 the base stake and is protected by a 4-digit entry code.
- Gold: Contains a prize between X600 and X2000 the base stake and is protected by a 5-digit entry code.
All entry codes consist of unique numbers. The player is prompted to select different numbers on the keypad to try and crack the code to open the vault. Any correct number inputted by the player will be shown as yellow on the display and any incorrect numbers shown as red. Any number selected by the player is then removed from the keypad, so no duplicate numbers can be inputted.
If the player guesses all numbers of the code correctly, they are awarded the Vault’s prize and then are returned to the Free Spins feature. If the player triggers the mini feature again, the opened Vault is removed and replaced by a new and upgraded Vault to open. If the opened Vault was Gold, then another Gold Vault will be presented to the player.
The prizes inside the vault are multipliers of the player’s base stake.
The Bronze vault has the following prize multipliers available: X20, X25, X30, X40, X50, X75, X100

Crew Members
Each crew member that was activated by landing on their trail position in the base game gets added to the Free Spins feature.
Their purpose is to use their special skills to help opening the vaults in the Vault Raid Mini Feature.
These skills are activated automatically upon entry to the triggered Free Spins feature.

- There are 243 ways to win in this game. Landing an identical symbol on 3, 4, or 5 consecutive reels from the left awards a win.
